There’s a lot of noise out there when it comes to advertisements trying to lure shoppers in, so you have to set yourself apart from the pack. I think we can all agree that Stone & Strand, a New York jewelry company, has done just that.
They recently debuted a new earring line by Maria Tash, andincluded some rather “colorful” copy to promote it.
Let’s just zoom in on there for a minute and let it sink in.
No surprise, but Twitter is being very mature and adult about the whole thing.
Nadine McCarthy Kahane, the founder and CEO of Stone & Strand, saidthe copy was written internally by a team of young women with an “irreverent outlook.”
And yes, the double entendre had been on purpose…
